Ahmed Soultan – www.facebook.com/AhmedSoultan2009

Following the release of his new album “Music Has No Boundaries – Extended”, Ahmed Soultan will be on his first european tour this fall.

He is known as the forerunner of the Afrobian style (Afro – Arabian) – a style between Soul, RnB, Hip-Hop and traditional music – since the success of his first album “Ya-Salam” in 2005.

As he sings in four different languages (berbère, arabian, english and french), he had the occasion to participate to numerous international music events.

In April 2012, he is the guest of an «acoustic session» on BBC World TV and BBC Radio 1. His single “My Jailer” – launched the same year – earned him the MTV European Music Award for best Africa/India/Middle East Act, and the nomination for the MTV EMA Worldwide Act – in competition with Rihanna. Rolling Stones Magazine dedicated him two articles and Forbes Magazine quoted him among the « Thirteen African Celebrities To Watch In 2013 ».

In 2013, he wins the MTV EMA for Africa/Middle East/India Best Act with is single « Ihna Lhal Denia Henia » and a nomination for Worldwide Act beside One Direction, Justin Bieber, Cody Simpson, EXO and other international major artists.

In 2016, he wins the best African album at the All African Music Awards with his third album “Music Has No Boundaries”.

He is back in 2019, with an extended version of his last album, releasing 7 new tracks. He is highlighting here artists that had inspired him along his career – such as Georges Clinton, Fred Wesley, Pee Wee Ellis, Femi Kuti, Tekitha (Wu Tang Clan) – and is already the subject of numerous interviews (TF1, TV5, Rolling Stones…).
