Comprised of members from some of Liverpool’s finest heavy exports in The Bendal Interlude, SSS, Magpyes and Iron Witch, the quintet that is Video Nasties mixed death metal with punky and thrashy undertones, creating something morbidly macabre and devilishly debauched on their debut record. Picking up universal praise from the likes of Kerrang, Metal Hammer, Metal Sucks, Decibel Magazine, Metal Injection, Zero Tolerance, Total Guitar and Metal Heads Magazine, ‘Dominion’ also caught the attention of Trivium’s Matt Heafy who included it in his top albums of 2020
Aggressive Perfector’s punk-infused metal draws inspiration from the past but is right at home. Amongst the irradiated post-apocalyptic wastes of the near future. Their debut release, 2016’s ‘Satan’s Heavy Metal’ EP established the Manchester-based band as a favourite within the heavy metal underground and drew praise for its raw take on classic metal that was unafraid to cross the traditional boundaries of good taste. UK tours with Power Trip and Midnight followed, as well as a lengthy outing across mainland Europe and Scandinavia. Next came the Havoc At The Midnight Hour LP. Across 8 tracks, the debut full-length showed that, after many thousands of miles on the road, the band had arrived at a sound that was at once heavier, more melodic and lyrically more twisted than ever before
